Year-round care
Many medical missions provide care for a few days and then leave. But a patient with diabetes needs medication every month. A child recovering from an injury needs follow-up care. A mother needs support before and after her baby is born.
FOTCOH’s doctors, nurses, dentists and pharmacists are based in Haiti year-round. They’re at the clinic every week, so patients can come back. More families arrive each week than the clinic can see today.
“Having the clinic open and seeing patients every week prevents a small problem from becoming a crisis.”
